It's been a while since I've been blogging. Mainly because of my GCSE's, then building work at home so I've had no PC and no Internet for 2 months now and now I'm in London for a week. In London I've been in slough at Khalsa Primary School, helping out at there annual Khalsa Camp! (3-7 of August 2008) Last year it was very busy and they turned people away but this year, wow! it was the same.
Amazing, Inspiring, Great Talks, Great People, Great place to be !!
In the near future i will upload some pictures on this page so watch out.
But first i should tell you why it's amazing. I was helping out with the 8 - 10 year olds and some of them can be good, some can be bad but most importantly their brains are like a sponge, you tell them something and providing they were listening they take it in. Which is great. These kids asked alot of great questions and listened to some great lectures. The lectures were on; Identity and Articles of Faith, Sikh Women and Equality, The Secret of Sikhi, The way to live and many more. Even my self as a 16 year old was inspired and wowed by the effort and the knowledge that was buzzing around on these days.
You know what, on second thoughts I can't write how i'm feeling, it's just beyond words, but why don't you come and experience something your selves. For kids, you'll have to wait til next year i'm afraid but you adults and over 16's you may have a blessing yet.
